Houston Rockets Twitter account keeps it real after 12th straight loss

The Houston Rockets have hit rock bottom and their Twitter account is no longer being shy.

There are multiple problems in Houston and no easy fixes. The team bounced back from a 49-point loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in which no player scored over 14 points with a little less embarrassing 20-point loss to the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. The Bulls handled the Rockets, 120-100.

Zach LaVine, who is in the middle of a career-year, scored 14 of Chicago’s 46 third-quarter points, finishing with 21 points. The Bulls outscored the Rockets by 20 points in the quarter to break open a game that had been fairly close to that point.

Houston has been shorthanded since trading James Harden, playing without center Christian Wood since Feb. 5. DeMarcus Cousins, who had been filling in for him, was released by the team last week. Victor Oladipo is still sidelined with a strained right foot.

Injuries and simply a lack of identity have caused first-year head coach Stephen Silas’s team to drop 12 straight games. The team’s Twitter account has had enough.

The Houston Rockets Twitter account trolls the team perfectly after another loss

The Rockets are 11-22 and only ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference standings.

After their loss to the Bulls, the team’s Twitter account let it be known how painful this season has been.

It’s hilarious to see social media teams attempt to cope with horrible seasons.

Now that they’re in danger of losing Victor Oladipo to free agency have the Rockets’ chances at relevance completely faded?
