This is certainly welcome news for 76ers fans, as the series heads back to Philadelphia. In his absence, head coach Doc Rivers has started veteran DeAndre Jordan in his place.

Embiid was one of many prominent NBA stars to pick up injuries throughout this year’s playoffs. Then, he picked up the orbital fracture and concussion in Game 6 vs. the Raptors.

Through the playoffs thus far, Embiid averaged 26.2 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 51.1-percent from the field.

76ers fans will be anxiously looking for updates on Embiid’s status for Game 3, which is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. ET.
